ok, so I know that is has been 12 days or more since my last update…… but I was in Iowa for 12 days and my grandpa has a MAC and it wouldn’t let me write a blog so I had to wait till I arrived back in Anchorage. So now that I am back I need to let all you beautiful people know whats going on.
well to start off with I had a great time visiting my grandma and grandpa, something I needed to do before heading off to Georgia where I will be training with the others to go out on the mission field.
I will be heading out in six days which happens to be September 11th for a week training in Gainesville. then off to Africa, where I will be in Johannesburg for the first part of the nine month trip. Since arriving back home I have plenty of things to do before Tuesday hits, but one thing that I ask that you all keep helping me out with is pray for guidance and my finances. As of right now I am still behind with collecting the 60% that is needed to leave. I have my ticket to Georgia, I have my ticket to Africa, I have my medical insurance for the nine months, I have received all my shots needed, and so on but I believe that  my faith in Gods provision in my life will come to past. ” we live by faith not sight” is one verse I live my life by.
I have some awesome GOD stories to share with you how the LORD uses his people to help those in need. While recently being at my grandmas house, I met her neighbor across the street, she happened to hear that I was going on a mission and came over and introduced herself, after passing by and saying hi here and there with a little small talk She immediately told me that she was praying for me. Just two days ago I was walking in the door from a run when i noticed she was calling me over to her house, she had a card with her with my name on it. I greatly accepted not knowing what this card could be because I met her and had only talked to her the last 5 days. I left back home to open it with surprise she wanted to bless me with a donation of $100 dollars. praise GOD I am thankful for that and the generousity of his people. I will share my other pretty neat story on my next blog tomorrow. thanks for listening tune in again next blog to hear about the life in a day of Aubrey.
