To all you
beautiful people, that I love so much
I am so sorry that you have not been able to hear from me in
3 weeks but it has been a crazy busy time over here in AFRICA.
The first week was training camp, one week we were at our home base in Johannesburg
and then we left last Saturday for Swaziland
and we will be leaving back to JoBurg on Monday.
I honestly
don’t know exactly where to start off to let you guys know what we have been
doing, I speak in plural form because I am including my team of 40 people that
I happen to be living with. I do know
that I want to thank each and everyone of you guys for prayer and support while
I am away.
Some things that we have been doing
would include, morning sessions after
breakfast ie: the first week in JoBurg was on Surrender. Its awesome how
GOD works and speaks to you in ways that you least expect it. Now coming out of
the second week the topic that has been spoken on has been WHO I AM IN CHRIST, please let me give you a side not on that
topic. Since living in COMMUNITY with 60 people the last 2 weeks, I belive that
the LORD has been using this opportunity to speak to me and I am finding more
of who I really am during this time.
With all that in mind I want to
tell you that that is not all we have been doing during the afternoons we go
out and do ministry in the areas that AIM has already established a
relationship. Since coming to Swaziland
we have kept the same scheldule and have gone to many different areas. I do not
have much time no the internet and I wan to share some things with you so
I apologize for skipping and leaving
some things out but bare with me a lot
happens in a week and we are very limited to the internet.
I have be in Swaziland for a week
now, which some of you guys reading this know that this is where the PRATTS
live, who I happen to be staying with in DECEMBER. I have been praying on where
my location after Christmas break will be either Swazialnd or KENYA.
Since being here I have had more of a feeling to come here for the last 5
months of the mission, I have fallen in
love with the ministry and the people of AFRICA. I am
not sure where I will be going since our leaders have been praying for us all
and have a say in the teams that are made and finalized on Nov 1st.
Please keep me in your prayers for that and also for
guidance and just the people that my team comes in contact with.
Ok so
something that I would like to share with you guys and that is REALITY. I know that
not everyone believes the same that I do and I am not saying that everyone who
reads this is this way I just want to share with you the REALITY of the SPIRITUAL
REALM that is in AFRICA. So coming over here I have
automatically walked into spiritual warfare. The people of Africa
have no doubt in their mind that there is a spirit world. It is so heavy here,
and the beliefs of people are so corrupt, Satan is ALIVE here and it is so
apparent and even more noticeable than in the UNITED STATES. The Enemies
tactics are so different here then where you are and since being here I have
seen many disturbing things and feel a presence of the evil that is here.
I have been
out doing ministry with my team the last few days and I really just wanted to
let you guys know that Satan is really out there to STEAL, KILL and DESTROY. I
walked into the hospital a couple of days ago and this hospital is nothing like
what you are used to, if I could take pictures I would but that is not right
and disrespectful so I cannot but just imagined a hospital with nothing, no
extra sheets, nothing to clean peoples throw-up with and on and on and on. This
is what I experienced and as I walked down the womens-ward I prayed for the
women and I knelt down next to patients with AIDS also being non responsive and held their hands and ask
the LORD for healing/strength to get through their last days. Really whatever
the lord laid on my heart. THIS stuff that we see and so here in AFRICA
is for the KINGDOM and to bring truth and life to those that do not know the
lord. I want to explain more but my time has run out I will be writing in a
week.
